Efficacy of Wenxin Granule and Metoprolol in the Treatment of Hypertensive Heart Disease Complicated with Ventricular Premature Meta Analysis and Trial Sequential Analysis

Abstract：Objective To systematically evaluate the efficacy of Wenxin granule(WXG)and metoprolol for hypertensive heart disease (HHD)complicated with premature ventricular contraction(PVC).Methods The literatures about WXG and metoprolol for HHD complicated with PVC were retrieved from PubMed,Cochrane library,Embase,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI), VIP database(VIP),Wanfang database,and China Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),since the establishment of the database to October 15,2017.The quality evaluation and data extraction of the included studies were independently and strictly performed by two researchers.The meta-analysis was performed using RevMan5.3 software,and the trial sequential analysis(TSA)was performed using TSA v0.9 software.Results Thirty-eight randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were enrolled,including 3 301 cases.The Results of Meta analysis suggest that the curative effect of WXG and metoprolol could improve total efficiency[RR=1.28,95％ CI(1.23,1. 34),P <0.000 01],reduce the incidence of adverse reactions[OR=0.67,95％ CI(0.51,0.88),P <0.004],reduce the number of premature [MD=-6.09,95％ CI(-6.81,-5.36),P <0.000 01],reduce the heart rate[MD=-5.60,95％ CI(-8.12,-3.07),P <0. 000 1].The result of TSA validated the result of meta-analysis.Conclusion WXG and metoprolol for HHD complicated with PVC is effective.
