Research on Thromboelastography of Patients with Hypertension of Phlegm and Blood Stasis Syndrome Complicated with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract：Objective To analyze the thromboelastography (TEG) outcomes in patients with hypertension of phlegm and blood stasis syn-drome complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2 DM), and to evaluate the risk of thrombogenesis.Methods One hundred and eightypatients with hypertension of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome were randomly divided into hypertension with T2 DM group (n=86) and hy-pertension group (n =94).TEG analyzer was used to determine the parameters of R value K value, angle (A) value and Ma value.ResultsAngle value and Ma value were significantly higher in hypertension with T2 DM group than those of the hypertension group (P ＜0.05).R value and K value were significantly lower in hypertension with T2 DM group than those of the hypertension group (P ＜0.05).Conclu-sion Hypertensive patients with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome complicated with diabetes mellitus may increase blood coagulation, areprone form thrombosis, and have an embolic event.
