Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of acupuncture and rehabilitation on neurological score, quality of life and adverse reac-tions in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred and eight patients with cerebral infarction from August 2012 to July 2015 were randomly divided into two groups:control group treated with rehabilitation, and treatment group treated with acupuncture and rehabilitation. The scores of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS),Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA),the activities of daily living (ADL),clinical effects, the levels of haematocrit (HCT),whole blood viscosity (WBV),fibrinogen (FIB),traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptoms score, adverse reactions were observed. Results The total clinical effective rate was significantly higher in treatment group than that in control group (98.31% vs 83.05% , P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of NIHSS were lower that before treatment in two groups while the scores of Fugl-Meyer,ADL were higher than that before treatment in two groups ( P<0.05).The scores of NIHSS in treatment group were lower than that in control group while the scores of Fugl-Meyer,ADL in treatment group were higher than that in control group ( P<0.05).The levels of HCT,WBV,FIB,TCM symptoms scores were lower that before treatment in two groups, which were lower in treatment group than that in control group ( P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the ad-verse reactions between two groups ( P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture and rehabilitation can improve the neurological function and the quality of life, and have a good safety in patients with cerebral infarction.
