Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of Xingnaojing injection (XNJI) and urinary kallidinogenase on neurological impairment and cerebral hemodynamics in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred and fourteen patients with cerebral infarction from Bayannur Hospital were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n =57) treated with XNJI,and treatment group (n =57) treated with XNJI and urinary kallidinogenase. The scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS),activity of daily living (Barthel),and cerebral hemodynamic parameters were observed before and after treatment. The clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results NIHSS score were higher in two groups before treatment, and there was no significant difference between two groups (P >0.05).NIHSS scores in treatment group showed a significant decrease compared with control group after 7 days,14 days,21days of treatment (P < 0.05).Barthel scores were higher in treatment group than that in control group after 21 days,60 days of treatment (P <0.05).After 1 courses of treatment, the total clinical effective rate was significantly higher in treatment group than that in control group (91.2% vs 80.7%,P <0.05).Conclusion XNJI and urinary kallidinogenase can significantly improve the treatment efficiency, improve brain hemodynamics, reduce neurological damage and improve the ability of daily activities in patients with cerebral infarction.
