The Influence of Jiedu Tongluo Decoction on the Levels of HbA1c, hs-CRP, BNP, NE in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome Complicated with Metabolic Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe the effects of Jiedu Tongluo decoction (JTD) on the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP),norepinephrine (NE) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) complicated with metabolic syndrome (MS).Methods Seventy-six patients with ACS complicated with MS were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n =38) treated with routine treatment,and treatment group (n =38) treated with routine treatment and JTD for 4 weeks.The changes of HbA1c,hs-CRP,BNP,NE before and after treatment in two groups were observed.Results After treatment,the levels of HbA1c,hs-CRP,BNP and NE in treatment group were decreased (P ＜0.01),which were significantly better than those in control group (P ＜0.05).Conclusion JTD can reduce the inflammation and the excitability of sympathetic nerve function in patients with ACS complicated with MS.
