Clinical Observation on Xinmailong Injection and IABP in the Treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction Complicated with Cardiac Shock

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of Xinmailong injection(XMLI)and intra-aortic balloon pump(IABP)in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction(AMI)complicating cardiac shock.Methods One hundred patients with AMI complicating cardiac shock were randomly divided into two groups:control group(n=50)treated with IABP and routine treatment,and treatment group (n=50)treated with XMLI plus IABP and routine treatment for 10 days.The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and serum brain natri-uretic peptide(BNP)concentrations were compared between the two groups,and the cardiac function was evaluated before and af-ter treatment according to the New York Heart Association(NYHA).Results The LVEF obviously increased in treatment group after treatment,which was better than that in control group (P<0.05).The concentrations of serum BNP decreased in two groups after treatment,which was lower in treatment group than that in control group(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate was significantly higher in treatment group than that in control group(88.0% vs 72.0%,P<0.05).Conclusion XMLI and IABP can effectively improve the symptoms in patients with AMI complicating cardiac shock.
