Efficacy of Yangxinshi Tablets in the Treatment of Heart Failure: a Meta-analysis

Abstract：Objective To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of Yangxinshi tablets in treatment of heart failure.Methods A computer search was performed using Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),Wanfang,VIP and PubMed to identify the randomized controlled trials of Yangxinshi tablets in the treatment of heart failure published up to July 2017,and relevant journals were manually searched.Meta analysis was performed using STATA 14 software after the evaluation of the quality of final literatures.Results Eleven RCTs were included in the Meta-analysis,and all of them were carried in China,Jadad score of 3 study was 1,Jadad scores of 2 study was 3,and the other 7 study was 1.Meta-analysis results showed that compared with the conventional treatment group,Yangxinshi tablets can signally increase effective rate [OR =3.47,95％ CI (2.50,4.82),P ＜ 0.001],left ventricular ejection fraction [WMD =6.22,95％ CI (5.38,7.06),P ＜0.001] and 6 minute walk distance [WMD =46.39,95％ CI (37.28,55.50),P ＜0.001].Conclusion Yangxinshi tablet and conventional therapy can significantly improve the clinical efficacy improve their heart function and exercise capacity in patients with heart failure.
