Influence of Qili Qiangxin Capsule on Efficacy and Cardiac Function Index in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effectiveness of Qili Qiangxin capsule in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF),and its effect on cardiac function and prognosis.Methods Patients with CHF in our hospital from October 2014 to December 2015 were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n =40) treated with routine treatment,and observation group (n =40)treated with Qili Qiangxin capsule and routine treatment for 4 weeks.After 4 weeks of treatment,the therapeutic effect of the two groups were observed,and the differences of cardiac function and prognosis were compared between the two groups.Results The tc.tal effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) increased,LVESD,LVEDd,B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels were decreased in two groups,and which were improved significantly in observation group (P ＜0.05).The incidence of myocardial infarction,angina,and cardiac death in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of quality of life were higher than that before treatment in two groups,which was increased more significantly in observation group (P ＜0.05).Conclusion Qili Qiangxin capsule on chronic heart failure had a better therapeutic effect,could improve LVEF,down-regulate BNP level,reduce the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events in patients with CHF.
