Effect of Tongxinluo Capsule Combined with Nicorandil and Simvastatin on Coronary Slow Blood Flow

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effects of Tongxinluo capsule (TXLC) combined with nicorandil and simvastatin on coronary slow flow (CSF).Methods One hundred and twenty hospitalized patients with CSF diagnosed by coronary angiography in the department of cardiology,First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from November 2014 to November 2016 were selected,and randomly divided into two groups:control group (n =60) treated with routine treatment plus nicorandil and simvastatin,and observation group (n =60) treated with routine treatment plus TXLC,nicorandil and simvastatin.After 6 months,correct TIMI frame count (CTFC) or inflammatory mediators and chest pain symptoms in two groups were measured and recorded.Results There were 3 dropouts in control group,1 case with headache symptom,1 case with abnormal liver function in observation group.Compared with pre-treatment,CTFC for LAD,LCX and RCA was significantly decreased after treatment in observation group(P ＜0.05).After 6 months,CTFC for LAD,LCX and RCA in observation group were significantly lower than that in control group (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with pre-treatment,the expression of inflammatory mediators of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP),myeloperoxidase,and lipoxin A4 were significantly decreased after treatment in observation group (P ＜0.05).After 6 months,the expression of hs-CRP,myeloperoxidase,lipoxin A4 in observation group were significantly lower than that in control group.The angina frequency decreased after treatment of 3 months,6 months (P ＜0.05) compared with that before treatment in observation group.Likert-type scale decreased after treatment of 3 months (P6 months,P ＜0.05 or P ＜0.01) compared with that before treatment in the observation group.Likert-type scale after treatment in the observation group decreased in contrast to the control group(P ＜0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic program of TXLC combined with nicorandil and simvastatin can improve coronary slow flow with good safety,and anti-inflammation role may be one of its mechanisms.
