Clinical Observation on Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction and Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in the Treatment of Angina Pectoris

Abstract：Objective To investigate clinical effects of Gualou Xiebai Banxia decoction (GXBD) and Xuefu Zhuyu decoction (XZD) in the treatment of angina pectoris.Methods Ninety-six patients with angina pectoris in Shunyi Hospital of Beijing Chinese Medicine Hospital from August 2013 to January 2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups:control group (n =48) treated with XZD,and treatment group (n =48) treated with GXBD and XZD for 28 days.Results The effective rates of angina pectoris was 97.9％ in treatment group,which was significantly higher than that in control group (85.4％,P ＜0.05).There was no adverse reaction in two groups during the treatment.The angina attack frequency of angina pectoris and durations after treatment were 2.84± 0.44 times per week and 2.75 min± 0.53 min in treatment group,4.55 ± 0.61 times per week and 4.92 min ± 0.61 min in control group,which was lower in treatment group than that in control group (P ＜0.05).After treatment,serum C-reactive protein (CRP) values were lower than that in two groups before treatment,which was lower in treatment group than that in control group (P ＜0.05).The contents of TC,TG and LDL-C were decreased significantly after treatment in two groups,while HDL-C contents were significantly increased in two groups (P ＜0.05).There was difference in the contents of TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C between two groups after treatment (P ＜0.05).Conclusion GXBD and XZD can improve blood lipid metabolism,regulate CRP expression,improve clinical symptoms of angina pectoris and promote the clinical efficacy in patients with angina pectoris.
