Clinical Observation on Buqi Tongluo Prescription in the Treatment of Cerebral Infarction at Convalescence with Qi Deficiency and Phlegm and Blood Stasis Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Buqi Tongluo prescription (BTP) in the treatment of cerebral intarction at convalescence with qi deficiency and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.Methods Sixty patients with cerebral infarction at convalescence with qi deficiency and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n =30) treated with routine treatment,and treatment group (n =30) treated with BTP in the basis of routine treatment for 2 months.The clinical effect was evaluated after a course.The changes of blood rheology,nerve function defect score and Barthel indexe before and after treatment were observed.Results The total clinical effective rate was 86.67％ in treatment group,which was significantly higher than that in control group (63.33％,P ＜0.05).There was significant difference in blood rheology,nerve function defect and Barthel indexe between two groups before and after treatment (P ＜0.05).The changes in treatment group was more obvious than that in control group (P ＜0.05).Conclusion BTP can effectively improve blood rheology,nerve function defect,and activities of daily living,promote the recovery in patients with cerebral infarction at convalescence with qi deficiency and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.
