Abstract:Objective To study the preventive effects of Zhutan Quyu decoction (ZQD) on restenosis after cerebrovascular stent implantation. Methods Fifty patients with cerebrovascular stent implantation were collected from January 2013 to February 2015 at neurology department in Qingcheng District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and randomly divided into two groups:control group (n=25) treated with routine treatment, and observation group (n=25) treated with routine treatment and ZQD.The vascular restenosis and rheological parameters were compared between two groups after treatment. Results The plasma viscosity, fibrin and thromboxane (TXA2)/prostacyclin(PGI2) in observation group six month post operation were significantly lower than that before operation,TXA2 and PGI2 concentrations significantly increased (P<0.05).Compared with control group after treatment, all the indexes were improved significantly in observation group(P<0.05).Stent diameter in observation group was significantly greater than that in control group, the diameter reduction index, the stenosis rate and intervention rate were significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion ZQD can improve cerebral state, and it is helpful to reduce the incidence of restenosis after stent.
