Clinical Observation on the Health Management of TCM Preventive Treatment Theory in Patients with Prehypertension

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preventive treatment theory in the treatment of prehypertension.Methods One hundred and forty patients with prehypertension were randomly divided into were randomly divided into two groups:control group treated with conventional medical check-up and intervention,and observation group treated with the health management of TCM preventive treatment theory.The average systolic pressure,diastolic pressure and pulse pressure,the quality of life were observed.The levels of blood triglyceride (TG),serum total cholesterol (TC),low density lipoprotein (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C) were tested by automatic biochemical analyzer.The whole blood viscosity,plasma viscosity,erythrocyte deposited and blood rheology indexes were tested by blood viscosity analyzer.Results The average systolic pressure,diastolic pressure and pulse pressure in observation group were lower than the control group (P<0.05).The scores of emotional function,cognitive function,role function,physical function,and social function in observation group were higher than that in control group (P<0.05).The levels of TG,TC and LDL-C in observation group were lower than that in control group,and the HDL-C in observation group was higher than that in control group (P<0.05).The whole blood viscosity,plasma viscosity,erythrocyte deposited and erythrocyte aggregation index in observation group were lower than the control group (P<0.05).The scores of credibility,satisflaction,and individualized rehabilitation plan maneuverability and symptoms improve in observation group were higher than that in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The health management of TCM preventive treatment theory can effectively control early blood pressure,improve the quality of life,improve the blood lipid and blood rheology indexes in patients with prehypertension.
