Clinical Observation on Qili Qiangxin Capsules in the Treatment of Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction

Abstract：Objective To explore the effects of Qili Qiangxin capsules (QQC) in the treatment of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF).Methods Sixty patients with HFpEF were randomly divided into two groups:control group treated with routine treatment,and treatment group treated with routine treatment plus QQC for 8 weeks.The 6-min walking distance (6MWD), quality of life (QoL), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), the ratio between early and late atrial ventricular filling velocity (E/A) and C-reactive protein (CRP) were observed and analyzed.Results After 8 weeks of therapy, 6MWD, QoL, E/A and CRP were improved in two groups,which was better in treatment group than that in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion QQC and routine treatment can further improve the 6MWD, E/A and QoL, and reduce CRP in patients with HFpEF.
