Clinical Observation on Shexiang Baoxin Pill and Irbesartan in the Treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Shexiang Baoxin pill (SBP) and irbesartan in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).Methods Sixty-six patients with AMI in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2015 were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n=33) treated with routine treatment,and study group (n=33) treated with SBP and irbesartan.The indexes of cardiac function and inflammatory factors,vascular endothelial function and platelet activity,adverse reaction were observed before and after treatment.Results The total clinical effective rate was 100% in study group,which was significantly higher than that in control group (84.85%,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the cardiac function,inflammatory factors,vascular endothelial function and platelet activation indexes before treatment between two groups (P>0.05).The cardiac function,inflammatory factors,vascular endothelial function and platelet activation indexes in study group were better than the control group after treatment (P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate was 3.03% in study group and 6.06% in control group (P>0.05).Conclusion SBP and irbesartan can improve cardiac function,inflammatory factors,vascular endothelial function and platelet activation indexes in patients with AMI.
