Abstract:Objective To study the effect of Yiqi Huoxue decoction (YHD) and atorvastatin on tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin-6 (IL-6),high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients with diabetic nephropathy complicated with hypertension. Methods A total of 64 patients with diabetic nephropathy and hypertension who were diagnosed in our hospital from February 2015 to March 2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups. The patients in two groups were given the same basic treatment of diabetes, and the patients in two groups were treated with atorvastatin. The patients in observation group was treated with YHD.The blood pressure, renal function,24 h urinary albumin excretion in two groups before and after treatment (UAER),urinary albumin (Microal,Buminuria,mALB) and the inflammatory cytokines TNF-alpha,IL-6,hs-CRP levels were observed. Results After treatment, the blood pressure of the two groups decreased significantly, and the systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic pressure (DBP) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The blood urea nitrogen (BUN),serum creatinine (SCr) levels in two groups were decreased after treatment, there was no significant difference among groups. The 24 h urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER),urinary albumin (mALB) levels in observation group were significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of hs-CRP,IL-6 and TNF-were significantly lower in the two groups (P<0.05),which was significantly lower in observation group than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion YHD and atorvastatin can significantly reduce the levels of hs-CRP,IL-6 and TNF-alpha in patients with diabetic nephropathy complicated with hypertension.
