Clinical Observation on Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in the Treatment of Stroke Sequela with Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis Syndrome

Abstract:Objective This study aimed to explore the clinical effectiveness of integrated traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in the treatment of stroke sequela with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome.Methods Sixty patients with stroke sequela and qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:control group treated with western medicine routine treatment,and treatment group treated with integrated traditional Chinese medicine and western medicin.The neurological deficit scores (NDS), adverse drug reaction, and clinical efficacy were observed.Results After treatment,the total clinical effective rate was 86.7% in treatment group,and 70.0% in control group.The NDS were significant improved in treated group,which was higher than that in control group (P<0.05).There was no adverse drug reaction in two groups during the course of study.Conclusion The integrated traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine can improve the neurological deficit in patients with stroke sequela and qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome.
