Effects of Huangqi Baoxin Decoction on the Chinasa Medicina Syndrome Scores.Blood Lipid and Inflammatory Factors in Patients with Angina Pectoris

Abstract：Objective To observe the effects of Huangqi Baoxin decoction (HBD) on the clinical syndrome,blood lipid and plasma inflammatory factors in patients with angina pectoris.Methods Eighty-six patients with angina pectoris were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n=43) treated with routine treatment,and treatment group (n=43) treated with routine treatment and HBD.The syndrome scores,blood lipid and inflammatory factors were observed after treatment.Results The syndrome scores and the levels of plasma total cholesterol (TC),triglycerides (TG),low density lipoprotein (LDL),C-reactive protein (CRP),interleukin-6 (IL-6),tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α),homocysteine (HCY) were reduced after treatment in two groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The syndrome scores and the levels of plasma TC,IL-6,TNF-α,HCY in treatment group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion HBD can lowering blood lipid level and improving the expression of inflammatory factors in patients with angina pectoris.
