Abstract:Objective To study the effects of probucol, atorvastatin and tirofiban on Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) classification, laboratory indicators and the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in elderly patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods One hundred and seventy elderly patients with CHD in our hospital who received elective PCI treatment were selected from January 2015 to June 2016.They were were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n=85) treated with tirofiban and atorvastatin, and treatment group (n=85) treated with probucol and tirofiban in the basis of routine treatment.TIMI classification, laboratory indicators and the incidence of MACE were observed. Results The levels of reduced glutathione(GSH),GSH/oxidized glutathione(GSSG),NO and NO/endolhelih(ET)-1 in treatment group increased significantly, and were higher than that in control group (P<0.05).The levels of GSSG,ET-1 and Eh in treatment group decreased significantly, and were lower than that in control group (P<0.05).Patients with TIMI 3 were 81 cases in treatment group, accounting for 95.29%,while patients with TIMI 3 were 59 cases in control group, accounting for 69.41%,the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05).The common MACE were recurrent angina, arrhythmia and infarction, death in wo groups. The incidence rate of MACE was 20% in treatment group and 21.18% in the control group, there was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with atorvastatin plus irofiban, probucol plus tirofiban can improve TIMI classification, correct oxidation reduction state migration in elderly patients with CHD after PCI.The incidence rate of MACE is similar.
