Clinical Observation on Yougui Pill and Amlodipine Besylate Tablet for 112 Cases of Hypertension

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Yougui pill (YGP) and amlodipine besylate tablet in the treatment of hypertension with kidney yang deficiency syndrome.Methods The hypertensive patients with hypertension with kidney-yang deficiency syndrome patients were randomly divided into two groups:control group treated with amlodipine besylate tablet,and treatment group treated with YGP and amlodipine besylate tablet for 2 months.The antihypertensive effect, improvement of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome were observed.Results After treatment, blood pressure levels were reduced in two groups (P<0.05),which was lower in treatment group than that in control group (P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate was 98.21% in treatment group,which was significantly higher than that in control group (67.86%,P<0.05).Conclusion YGP and amlodipine besylate tablet is effective for hypertensive patients with kidney-yang deficiency syndrome,especially for decreasing TCM syndromes.
