Clinical Observation on Bushen Jiangya Decoction in the Treatment of Hypertension with Kidney-qi Deficiency Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Bushen Jiangya decoction (BJD) in the treatment of hypertension with kidney-qi deficiency syndrome.Methods Sixty patients with with kidney-qi deficiency syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:control group treated with routine antihypertensive treatment,and treatment group treated with routine antihypertensive treatment and BJD for 2 months.The clinical curative effect and the changes of blood pressure, urinary micro albumin content were observed before and after treatment.Results After treatment, blood pressure decreased significantly in two groups (P<0.05).Compared with the control group, systolic blood pressure decreased in treatment group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of antihypertension was 96.7% in treatment group,which was significantly higher than that in control group (83.3%,P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome was 93.3% in treatment group,which was significantly higher than that in control group (53.3%,P<0.05).The 24 hours urinary albumin reduced in treatment group,which was significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion BJD and conventional western medicine have antihypertensive effect,can significantly improve the urinary microalbuminuria and renal function.
