Effect of Jiangzhi Decoction on Blood Lipid in Patients with Hhyperlipidemia and Phlegm Turbidity and Blood Stasis Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of Jiangzhi decoction (JZD) on blood lipid in patients with hyperlipidemia and phlegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome.Methods Eighty patients with hyperlipidemia and phlegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n= 40) treated with routine treatment,and treatment group (n= 40) treated with routine treatment plus JZD.The therapeutic effect,clinical symptoms score and blood lipid levels were observed.Results The effective rate in treatment group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the clinical symptoms scores decreased in two groups,which was lower in treatment group than that in control group(P<0.05).The levels of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides decreased in two groups,which was lower in treatment group than that in control group(P<0.05).The levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol increased in two groups,which was higher in treatment group than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion JZD can lower blood lipid levels in patients with hyperlipidemia and phlegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome.
