Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between left ventricular hypertrophy and vitamin D,ventricular arrhythmia and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods Three hundreds patients with CHD in our hospital were divided into group A and group B according to whether the left ventricular hypertrophy. The ultrasonic cardiogram was observed. The levels of interleukin (IL)-10 and NT-proBNP and serum 25 hydroxy vitamin D were detected. The incidence of arrhythmia was compared. The correlation was analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, the levels of serum IL-10 were decreased after treatment in two groups. The level of IL-10 in group A was lower than that in group B (P<0.05).Left ventricular hypertrophy and vitamin D, ventricular arrhythmia and NT-proBNP were correlated.NT-proBNP level and degree of left ventricular hypertrophy was positively correlated (r=0.362, P<0.05).There was a negative correlation between serum 25 hydroxy vitamin D and left ventricular hypertrophy (r=-0.451, P<0.01).The incidence of arrhythmia was significantly correlated with the degree of left ventricular hypertrophy (r=0.646,P<0.01).Conclusion Left ventricular hypertrophy is positively correlated with the incidence of ventricular arrhythmias and NT-proBNP levels, negatively correlated with vitamin D levels in patients with CHD.It is a clinical guiding significance.
