Chinese Herbal Paste in the Treatment of Angina Pectoris:A Meta Analysis

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of Chinese herbal paste (Gaofang) in the treatment of angina pectoris.Methods According to the requirements of evidence-based medicine,China journal full text database (CNKI),Wanfang database and VIP database from January 1996 to January 2016 were searched.Nine relevant literatures to meet the inclusion criteria were selected as a meta analysis object.The curative effect of angina pectoris and ECG effect were selected as effect index.Statistical analysis was conducted using RevMan5.3 specific software provided by Cochrane collaboration network.Results The curative effect of angina pectoris of the combined OR value was 3.72(P<0.000 01),and its 95% CI was (2.41~5.74), ECG efficacy of the combined OR was 3.46 (P<0.000 01), and its 95% CI was(2.38~5.03).The treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion The available literatures show that the application of Chinese herbal paste (Gaofang) in the treatment of angina pectoris is effective.
