Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effects of Xinmailong injection (XMLI) on cardiac function and plasma N-terminal-pro B type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels in patients with coronary heart disease with chronic heart failure (CHF).Methods One hundred and sixteen patients admitted to the departments of cardiology of Nanyang city central Hospital from 2015 to 2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups:control group(n=58) treated with routine treatment, and treatment group (n=58) treated with XMLI and routine treatment for 14 days. The cardiac function,6 minutes walking test, left ventricular diastolic dysfunction(LVDd),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and plasma NT-proBNP were detected in the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the 6 minutes distance,LVDd,LVEF improved in two groups(P<0.05).The 6 minutes distance,LVDd,LVEF improved degree of treatment group were higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Plasma NT-proBNP level was reduced in two groups(P<0.05),which was lower in treatment group than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion XMLI can improve cardiac function and reduce the level of plasma NT-pro BNP in patients with CHF.
