Clinical Observation on Yiguanjian Decoction in the Treatment of Senile Parkinson's Disease with Liver-kidney Yin Deficiency Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Yiguanjian decoction (YGJD) in the treatment of senile Parkinson's disease with liver-kidney yin deficiency syndrome.Methods One hundred and sixty elderly patients with Parkinson's disease and liver kidney yin deficiency syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n=80) treated with madopar,and treatment group (n=80) treated with YGJD plus madopar.United Parkinson's disease rating scale (UPDRS) and Webster scale were observed before treatment and after treatment of 1 month,3 months and 6 months.Results There was no significant difference in Webster Scale and UPDRS scores between two groups after treatment of 1 month (P＞0.05) while there was significant difference between two groups after treatment of 3 months and 6 months (P＜0.05).Conclusion YGJD has effect on senile Parkinson's disease with liver-kidney yin deficiency syndrome.The clinical therapeutic effect was related to time course of therapy.
