Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of Chinese herbal plaster acupoint application and ear auricular acupoint in the treatment of myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods Ninety-eight patients with myocardial infarction after PCI were randomly divided into two groups:control group (n=49) treated with routine treatment, and treatment group(n=49) treated with routine treatment plus Chinese herbal plaster acupoint application and ear auricular acupoint. The changes of heart rate and blood pressure, phospholipase A2 and C-reactive protein (CRP) were observed before and after treatment. The changes of electrocardiogram efficiency, hospitalization days, the scores of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome and Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ) were compared between two groups. Results The heart rate and blood pressure in treatment group were significantly lower than those in control group after 7 days of treatment(P<0.05).The levels of phospholipase A2 and CRP in treatment group were significantly lower compared with the control group (P<0.05).Total effective rates of ECG and TCM syndrome score in treatment group were higher than that in control group (95.9% vs 87.8%,89.8% vs 69.4%,all P<0.05).The times of hospitalization in treatment group was shorter than that in control group(P<0.05).The stable state of angina pectoris and disease awareness in treatment group was better than that in control group. There was significant difference in stable state of angina pectoris between two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese herbal plaster acupoint application and ear auricular acupoint can improve the clinical effect of myocardial infarction after PCI.
