Abstract:Objective To study the correlation of preceding infection at different time periods with attack of acute cerebral infarction and provide the objective theory basis for clinical prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute cerebral infarction. Methods Two hundreds and twenty-two patients with primary acute cerebral infarction treated from December 2012 to December 2014 in our hospital were selected and 220 patients without cerebral infarction were also selected. The patients were divided into infection group and infection-free group according to the infection condition before the attack of disease. The risk factors of two groups were retrospectively analyzed. The correlation of preceding infection at different time periods with attack of acute cerebral infarction was analyzed. Results Compared with infection-free group, the factors of coronary disease, diabetes and transient ischemic attack were significantly different (P<0.05).According to the intervals of infection and cerebral infarction attack, the patients were divided into 1-3 d infection group,4-7 d infection group,8-14 d infection group and 15-28 d infection group.Based on the infection results,it was known that the infection rate for 1-3 d infection group and 4-7 d infection group was significantly higher than that of infection-free group (P<0.05).Conclusion To a certain extent, the preceding infection,as a precipitating factor, increases the attack risk of cerebral infarction. In particular, the recent infection shall be focused in clinical practices. For patients with higher risks of stroke, the prevention of infection shall be concerned.
