The Relationship Analysis of Huayu Tongfu Therapeutic Method on the Hcy Level of and the Degree of Neural Function Defect in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction

Abstract：Objective To explore the effects of Huayu Tongfu decoction (HTD) and conventional treatment on the level of Hcy and the degree of neural function defect score (NDS) in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI).Methods Seventy-two patients with ACI were selected in our hospital in February 2014 to February 2016,and randomly divided into two groups:control group (n=36) treated with conventional treatment,and treatment group (n=36) treated with conventional treatment and HTD.The serum Hcy level was detected before and after treatment.The clinical therapeutic effect was observed.Results There was no significant difference in NDS and Hcy levels between two groups before treatment (P>0.05).After treatment, NDS and Hcy levels were decreased,which was lower in treatment group than that in control group (P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate was 88.9% in treatment group,which was significantly higher than that in control group(77.8%,P<0.05).The level of serum Hcy before treatment was positively correlated with NDS scores (r=0.683, P<0.05).Conclusion HTD and conventional treatment can improve neurological function and reduce the level of serum Hcy in patients with ACI.
