Abstract：It owns its characteristics and advantages to prevent and treat ischemic cerebrovascular disease (ICVD)with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)under the concept of translational medicine.It will promot the two-way transformation of the basic research and clinical application,promote the development of prevention and treatment of ICVD research with TCM to better serve ICVD pa-tients by combining the laboratory research results with clinical practice,and to take prevention and treatment of ICVD with TCM from simple accumulation of clinical experience to a theory of sublimation,and then return to guide clinical.
