Clinical Observation on Shensong Yangxin Capsule in the Treatment of Arrhythmia in Patients with Acute non-ST Elevation Myocar-dial Infarction

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of Shensong Yangxin capsule(SYC)in the treatment of arrhythmia in patients with a-cute non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). Methods Ninety-six patients with acute NSTEMI complicated with ar-rhythmia were selected in our hospital for diagnosis and treatment from July 2013 to January 2016.The patients were randomly divid-ed into two groups:control group(n=48)treated with mexiletine,and treatment group (n=32)treated with mexiletine plus SYC for 8 weeks.Results The total clinical effective rate was 97.9% in treatment group,which was significantly higher than that in control group(87.5%,P<0.05). The values of left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVDd),left ventricular systolic diameter (LVDs), left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were increased in two groups after treatment(P<0.05),which was higher in treatment group than that in control group(P <0.05). The values of standard deviation (SD)of all normal sinus RR intervals during 24 hours (SDNN),SD of averaged normal sinus RR intervals for all 5-minute segments(SDANN)were 135.03 ms±21.93 ms and 62.94 ms± 15.39 ms in treatment group after treatment,which was higher than that before treatment(86.73 ms±24.13 ms and 49.55 ms±18.49 ms,P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the values of SDNN and SDANN in control group before and after treatment(P>0.05).There was no serious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment period in two groups. Conclusion SYC has anti-ar-rhythmic effect,and improves heart function in patients with acute NSTEMI complicated with arrhythmia.
