The Influence of Acupuncture and Yiqi Huoxue Decoction on Heart Function,Myocardial Enzyme and Hemodynamics in Patients with Early Diabetic Cardiomyopathy and Qi-yin deficiency and Blood-stasis Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe the effects of acupuncture and Yiqi Huoxue decoction(YHD)on heart function,myocardial enzyme and hemodynamics in patients with early diabetic cardiomyopathy and qi-yin deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome. Methods Eighty-eight patients with early diabetic cardiomyopathy and qi-yin deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:control group(n=42)treated with routine treatment plus YHD,and treatment group (n=46)treated with routine treatment plus YHD and acupuncture for 4 weeks.The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),E/A ratio were observed.The lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),creatine kinase(CK),creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB)were tested.The hemodynamics including ΔP,Qp/Qs ratio,stroke index (SI),cardiac index (CI)were observed.Results After treatment,LVEF,E/A increased while LVEDD,LVESD de-creased in two groups (P<0.05),which was improved more significantly in treatment group than that of control group (P<0.05). LDH,AST,CK,CK-MB levels decreased in two groups (P<0.05),which was lower in treatment group than that in control group (P<0.05).ΔP,SI,CI increased while QP/QS decreased in two groups (P<0.05),which was improved more significantly in treat-ment group than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture and YHD has the cardioprotection,improve cardiac function and hemodynamics in patients with early diabetic cardiomyopathy and qi-yin deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome.
