Kidney adjusting and Heart protecting Therapy on the Secondary Prevention of Coronary Heart Disease with Angina Pectoris:a Cohort Study

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of kidney-adjusting and heart protecting therapy on the secondary prevention of an-gina pectoris.Methods Eighty patients with angina pectoris were randomly divided into two groups:non exposed group treated with basic treatment of western medicine,and exposed group treated with basic treatment of western medicine plus kidney-adjusting and heart-protecting therapy.The changes of angina pectoris,the scores of Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ),the incidence rate of myocardial infarction,re hospitalization rate and mortality rate were observed.Results The level of angina pectoris was changed, which was better in exposure group than that of the non-exposed group.The scores of SAQ in exposure group were better than that in non-exposed group.There was no significant difference in the incidence of myocardial infarction,re hospitalization rate and mortal-ity between two groups.However,with the extension of follow-up time,there was an increasing trend of the incidence of cardiac e-vents in exposed group.Conclusion Kidney adjusting and heart-protecting therapy has the curative effect and better prevention on angina pectoris of coronary heart disease.
