Clinical Curative Effect of Wenxin Granule and Metoprolol in the Treatment of Frequent Atrial Premature Beats after Permanent Pace-maker Implantation

Abstract：Objective To analyse clinical curative effect of Wenxin granule (WXG)and metoprolol sustained release tablet in the treatment of frequent atrial premature beats (APBs)after permanent pacemaker implantation (PPI). Methods Forty four patients with frequent APBs after PPI were divided randomly into two groups: control group (n=20)treated with metoprolol sustained re-lease tablet (47.5 mg each time,twice a day,oral ),and observation group(n=24)treated with WXG and metoprolol sustained re-lease tablet treatment (47.5 mg each time,once a day,oral)for 8 weeks. The efficacy and safety of drugs were observed after the end.Results The total clinical effective rate was 91.67% in observation group,which was significantly higher than that in control group(70.0%,P<0.05).There was no obvious side effects in two groups. Conclusion WXG and metoprolol sustained release tablet have effect on frequent APBs after PPI.
