The Influence of Guanxin Shutong Capsule and Trimetazidine Dihydrochloride on the Expressions of IL 6 and NT proBNP in Pa-tients with Unstable Angina Pectoris

Abstract：Objective To study the effects of Guanxin Shutong capsule (GSC)and trimetazidine dihydrochloride on the expressions of interleukin (IL) 6,N terminal pro B type natriuretic peptide (NT proBNP)in patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP). Methods One hundred patients were randomly divided into two groups:control group(n=50)treated with routine treatment (ni-trates,beta blockers,anti platelet aggregation,statins and trimetazidine dihydrochloride),treatment group(n=50)treated with GSC and routine treatment.The levels of serum NT proBNP,IL 6 and clinical effective were observed before and after treatment.Results After 4 weeks of treatment,compared with control group,the expression of NT proBNP,IL 6 were decreased in treatment group (P<0.05),and attack frequency of angina pectoris and duration were reduced(P<0.05).The total efficiency of treatment group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion GSC and trimetazidine dihydrochloride can decrease the levels of ser-um NT proBNP,IL 6,improve clinical symptoms,and reduce attack frequency of angina pectoris and duration in patients with UAP.
