Study on the Risk Factors of Wearing off in Pakinson Disease

Abstract:Objective To explore the the risk factors of wearing off in Pakinson disease (PD).Methods One hundred and thirty three patients with PD were included in this study,of while 74 cases were male and 59 cases were female.Through the report forms of al the cases to col ect the basic information of the patients to split into group and evaluate the wearing off,including name,age, gender,disease situation,age of onset,course of disease,Hoehn Yahr (HY)stage,Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UP-DRS)on duration,etc. Results There were 133 cases,according to the result of 9 item Wearing off Questionnaires (WOQ 9)e-valuation,a total of 111 cases were positive while the positive rate was 83.5%.The cases which were consistent with the evaluation criteria of Wearing off were 59 while the proportion was 53.2%. There was no obvious difference in gender and age between (WOQ 9) (+)and (WOQ 9 )()(P<0.05). Other aspects had obvious difference(P<0.05). There was no obvious difference in gender, age and onset age between WO(+)and WO ()(P<0.05). Other aspects has obvious difference(P<0.05). Conclusion In addi-tion to be related to Parkinson’s disease itself,the Wearing off also has a close relationship with levodopa.
