Abstract：The coronary microembolization (CME)animal model is the main tool to study the physiopathologic mechanism of disturb-ance of coronary microcirculation.According to the operative approaches of building the models,al the models can be classified into thoracotomy and catheterization.The article reviews the character of different CME animal models reflecting pathology and patho-physiology.
