Clinical Observation on Wenxiao Ⅲ Decoction and Enalapril Maleate Folate Tablet in the Treatment of H Type Hypertension

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects and safety of Wenxiao Ⅲ decoction (WXD)and enalapril maleate folate tablet for H type hypertension patients. Methods Ninety two patients according to the admissive standard were randomly divided into the treat-ment group and the control group,46 cases in each group. The patients in control group were treated by enalapril maleate folate tablet,while the patients in treatment group were treated by WXD and enalapril maleate folate tablet,with a treatment course of twenty four weeks for both groups. Blood pressure,serum homocysteine,blood fat,liver function,renal function and creatine kinase test of two groups were both measured before and after treatment. Results After treatment,each index of 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure,homocysteine in two groups decreased. There were statistical y significant differences between before and after treat-ment in both groups(P<0.05). After treatment,the total cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein cholesterol and high density lipoprotein cholesterol in treatment group were remarkably improved. There were statistical y significant differences between before and after treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01). But blood fat indexes were not remarkably improved in control group,and there were no statistical y significant differences in control group between before and after treatment (P>0. 05). Indexes of liver function,renal function and creatine kinase did not remarkably changed in both groups,and there were not statistical y significant differences in both groups between before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion WXD and enalapril maleate folate tablet had the effects on H type hypertension patients and be safe.
