Abstract:Objective To study the correlation of arterial elasticity with biochemical indicators. Methods Three hundreds and four pa-tients in the medical center of the Southern District of Guang’anmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in July 2014 were enrol ed.Asking medical history, measuring height, weight, body mass index (BMI),blood pressure, blood routine and bio-chemical indicators, and applying Omron BP 203RPEⅢ arteriosclerosis arterial elasticity detector to test their arterial elasticity of the crowd, according to brachial ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV)artery,we divides them into normal group (n=117),atherosclero-sis group (n=187).The lipid level was analyze between two groups. The relevance of lipid levels and atherosclerosis was explored using binary logistic regression and stepwise regression analysis. Results There was statistical significance in triglyceride (TG), apolipoprotein B (ApoB)between normal group and atherosclerosis group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that ApoB and BaPWV had positive correlation (r= 0.157,P=0.012).Total cholesterol,TG,high density lipoprotein chol esterol, low density lipoprotein cho lesterol,ApoA1 and BaPWV had no correlation.Logistic regression analysis showed that ApoB into the final regres-sion equation, the regression equation is that are there arteriosclerosis=-1.97+2.50× ApoB.Conclusion ApoB is a risk factor for atherosclerosis, which can predict the formation of atherosclerosis.
