Effects of Huazhuo Jiedu Huoxue Tongluo Management on Learning and Memory Capability in Mice with Vascular Dementia

Abstract：Objective To observe the effects of Huazhuo Jiedu Huoxue Tongluo method on learning and memory capability in mice with vascular dementia.Methods Sixty Kunming mice were randomly divided into model group,positive control group,traditional Chi-nese medicine(TCM)group and sham operation group.Each group had 15 mice.Models of vascular dementia in the first three groups were established through repeated cerebral ischemia reperfusion.Physiological saline was given to the mice in the sham operation group and model group.Naofukang solution was given to the mice in the positive control group.Mice in TCM group were given Hua-zhuo Jiedu Huoxue Tongluo decoction after models were successful y established.To do behavioral testing by jumping test after trea-ting.Results Compared with the model group,the learning and memory were improved in TCM group.Conclusion Huazhuo Jiedu Huoxue Tongluo method has protective effect on learning and memory capability in mice with vascular dementia.
