Correlation of Arterial Elasticity with Blood Pressure and Serum Protein

Abstract：Objective To study the relationship among arterial elasticity and blood pressure,serum protein.Methods Three hundreds and four patients in the medical center of the Southern District of Guang’anmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sci-ences in July 2014 were enrol ed.Asking medical history,measuring height,weight,body mass index (BMI),blood pressure,blood routine and biochemical indicators,and applying Omron BP 203RPEⅢ arteriosclerosis Arterial elasticity detector to test their arterial elasticity of the crowd,according to brachial ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV)artery into normal group(n=117),mild sclerosis group (n=112)and hardening group (n=75),clinical indicators were compared between the three groups.Results Compared to normal group,systolic blood pressure (SBP)in mild sclerosis group and sclerosis group were significantly different,respectively,the difference was statistical y significant (P<0.01).Compared to normal group,diastolic blood pressure (DBP)mild sclerosis group and sclerosis group were significantly different,respectively,the difference was statistical y significant (P<0.01).Compared to normal group,serum albumin(ALB)in mild sclerosis group and sclerosis group were significantly different,respectively,the difference was statistical y significant(P<0.05);compared to normal group,serum globulin (GLB)in mild arterial sclerosis and normal group group were significantly different,and the difference was statistical y significant (P<0.05).Conclusion analysis showed that three groups of age,SBP,DBP,GLB and baPWV was positively correlated while ALB and baPWV were negatively correlated.TP was no correlation with baPWV.Conclusion Serum levels of ALB,GLB could be used to estimate the early arterial elasticity,and we should strengthen the detection of arterial elasticity elderly,prevent the occurrence of atherosclerosis.
