Relationship between CXCL16 and Coronary Atherosclerosis and Vulnerable Plaque

Abstract：Objective To observe the relationship between CXCL16 and coronary atherosclerosis and vulnerable plaque.Methods Sixty patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)and 30 normal controls were col ected.The levels of serum CXCL16 were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (Elisa)24 hours after admission.Results The BMI,diabetes,high blood pressure,smok-ing,total cholesterol,triglycerides,low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL C),and fasting glucose in coronary heart disease group were higher than that in control group (P<0.01),HDL C level was lower than that in control group(P<0.01).The levels of serum CXCL16 in coronary heart disease group were higher than that in control group (P<0.01).The levels of serum CXCL16 in ACS group were higher than that in stable angina group (P<0.01).They were higher than those in the control group (P<0.01).The lev-els of serum CXCL16 were 2 199.87 pg/mL± 443.60 pg/mL,2 242.95 pg/mL± 447.91 pg/mL,2 254.43 pg/mL± 444.74 pg/mL in single vessel disease group,double vessel disease group and three vessel disease group,there was no difference in CXCL16 level be-tween them.Conclusion CXCL16 may have some role in the formation of coronary atherosclerosis.CXCL16 may have a role in coro-nary atherosclerotic vulnerable plaque,CXCL16 is not conducive to the maintenance of coronary artery atherosclerotic plaque stabili-ty.CXCL16 in patients with coronary heart disease was no significant relationship in coronary stenosis severity.
