The Logistic Regression Analysis of Arterial Elasticity and Blood Indicators in Patients with Atherosclerosis

Abstract：Objective To study the correlation between artery,elasticity and routine blood test.Methods Three hundreds and four pa-tients in the medical center of the Southern District of Guang anmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in July 2014 were enrol ed.Asking medical history,measuring height,weight,BMI,blood pressure,blood routine and biochemical indicators, and applying Omron BP 203RPEⅢ arteriosclerosis Arterial elasticity detector to test their arterial elasticity of the crowd,according to brachial ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV)artery,we divides them into normal group (n=117),atherosclerosis group (n=187). Using independent samples T test,the differences between the two sets of blood indicators were analyzed.Using binary Logistic un-conditioned regression and stepwise regression analysis,the correlation of blood and arteriosclerosis index was explored.Results Independent samples T test showed:normal group and atherosclerosis group age,mean corpuscular volume,mean corpuscular he-moglobin,red blood cel distribution width standard deviation,the differences were statistical y significant;Logistic regression analysis showed:age (OR=1.067,P=0.001),HGB (OR=6.146,P=0.016),MCV (OR=39.060,P=0.023),MCH (OR=0.000,P=0.016).Lo-gistic regression analysis showed that age,MCV were included in the final regression equation.The regression equation is:arterio-sclerosis=-14.263+0.056× age+0.099× MCV.Conclusion Age is a risk factors of baPWV.HGB and MCV are the impact factor of atherosclerosis,whatever MCH is a protective factor for arteriosclerosis.Meanwhile age and MCV are important factors in the forma-tion of atherosclerosis.
