Effects of Shexiang Baoxin Pil s on Serum hs CRP and MMP 9 in Patients with Unstable Angina Pectoris

Abstract：Objective To observe the effects of Shexiang Baoxin pil s(SBP)on high sensitivity C reactive protein(hs CRP)and matrix metal opeptidase 9 (MMP 9)in patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP).Methods One hundred and forty two patients with UAP were randomly divided into two groups:control group(n=70)treated with routine treatment,and treatment group(n=72) treated with routine treatment plus SBP for 2 weeks.The efficacy of angina pectoris and electrocardiogram (ECG)were evaluated. The contents of serum hs CRP and MMP 9 were observed before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the efficacy of an-gina pectoris and ECG in treatment group were better than that in control group(P<0.05).The contents of serum hs CRP and MMP 9 were lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion SBP can reduce the contents of serum hs CRP and MMP 9 in patients with UAP.
