The Influecne of Chinese Herbal Compound Intervention on Plasma Hcy Level in Coronary Heart Disease Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Yang deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of Chinese medicine intervention on plasma homocysteine(Hcy)levels in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)and yang deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Methods Ninety patients with CHD and yang defi-ciency and blood stasis syndrome were randomly divided into 3 groups:treatment group 1(n=30)treated with Wenyang Huoxue de-coction(WHD)and acupoint application,treatment group 2 (n=30)treated with WHD simulation agent and acupoint application, control group(n=30)treated with WHD simulation agent and acupoint application simulation agent.The changes of plasma Hcy level were observed before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the levels of plasma Hcy in the three groups were decreased. Compared with before treatment,the levels of plasma Hcy in treatment group 1 and treatment group 2 were lower(P<0.05).The lev-els of plasma Hcy in treatment group 1 and treatment group 2 were lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese Medicine compound intervention can reduce the plasma Hcy level in patients with CHD and yang deficiency and blood stasis syn-drome.
