Effect of Danhong Injection on the Prevention and Treatment of Cerebral Vasopasm after Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage:A Randomised,Single blind Clinical Trial

Abstract：Objective To investigate the impact of Danhong injection(DHI)on the prevention and cure of cerebral vasopasm (CVS) after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods Sixty patients were randomly divided into two groups:The control group treated with nimodipine,and the treatment group treated with DHI for 21 days.The incidence of CVS,blood flow velocity (BFV)of arteriae cerebri media,neurologic impairment score,rate of rebleeding and mortality were observed.The efficiency was evaluated. Results After treatment,there was no difference in the incidence of CVS,BFV of arteriae cerebri media,rate of rebleeding and mortality between two groups(P>0.05).The neurologic impairment scores were improved in two groups,and the scores in treatment group were better than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion DHI can prevent and cure CVS after SAH.
