Efficacy and Safety of Shensong Yangxin Capsule for Treatment of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibril ation:a Meta analysis

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Shensong Yangxin capsule(SYC)for treatment of on paroxysmal atrial fibril ation(PAF).Methods We retrieved CNKI,WanFang,PubMed of clinical control trial databases until 2015 by computer.Ac-cording to the integration and elimination standard of the literature,the randomized control ed trials(RCTs)of SYC for treatment of PAF were col ected.Two reviewers finished the quality assessment independently,extracted the data and cross checkded.Final y,we used the results 5.3 software for the meta analysis.Results A total of 17 studies included 1 459 cases of patients,and al of them were enrol ed in China.Jadad score of 17 studies were 1.Meta analysis results showed that the compared with the control group,8 of the clinical efficacy of the efficiency of the test[RR= 4.06,95% CI (2.59,6.37),P<0.000 01],reduce the onset of PAF(WMD= -2.70,95% CI (-3.10,-2.31),P<0.000 01],increased left ventricular ejection fractionv [WMD= 5.09,95%CI (4.46,5.72),P<0.000 01],reduced left auricle internal dimension [WMD= -2.90,95% CI (-3.39,-2.41),P<0.000 01],increased the six minute walking distance[WMD= 48.96,95% CI (40.86,57.05),P<0.000 01],increased the patients life quality[WMD= 27.14, 95% CI (25.23,29.06),P<0.000 01].Conclusion SYC can improve the clinical effcacy for treatment of PAF,but which needs to be further confirmed by more large sample,high quality RCTs.
