Danlou Tablets in Treating Coronary Heart Disease:a Meta analysis

Abstract：Objective To evaluated the clinical effect of Danlou tablets in coronary heart disease(CHD)by meta analysis method. Methods In accordance with evidence based medicine,we searched China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),China Biolo-gy Medicine disc(CBMdisc),and Wanfang database.A total of 16 articles(1 446 patients)were included in our research.The control group was given routine treatment,and observation group was given Danlou tablets in addition to routine treatment.The clinical out-comes,electrocardiogram(ECG)and the levels of total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL)were chosen as evaluation factors.RevMan5.3 was applied for data processing and statistical analysis.Results Compared with control group,the observation group presented an improvement in managing angina pectoris [RR= 1.25(1.16,1.35)]and ECG[RR= 1.27(1.11,1.44)].And it showed no differences in D value of TC[WMD= 1.04(-0.10,2.19)]and LDL [WMD= 1.04(-0.10,2.19)].Conclusion Combining Danlou tablets with the routine treatment has a positive short term effect in reducing the onset of angina pectoris.However,more rig-orously designed studies are needed to verify its effect in reducing TC and LDL levels.
