Clinical Observation on Mian’anning Granule and Deanxit in the Treatment of Insomnia for Neurasthenia

Abstract：Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of Mian’anning granule(MAG)and deanxit in the treatment of insomnia for neurasthenia.Methods Ninety five patients with insomnia for neurasthenia were randomly divided into two groups:The control group(n=47)treated with deanxit,and the treatment group(n=48)treated with deanxit plus MAG for 3 weeks.The efficacy were assessed by Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),Self rating depression scale(SDS),Self rating anxiety scale(SAS)at the end of 1st,2nd,3rd week.The side effects were assessed by Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS).Results The scores of PSQI, SDS and SAS were improved after treatment,which were better than that in control group(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate was 91.67% in treatment group,which was higher than that in control group(80.85%,P<0.05).There was no side effects in two groups.Conclusion MAG and deanxit have effect on insomnia for neurasthenia.
