Therapeutic Effect of Jiangzhi Xiaoban Tablet on the Cardiac Function in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Jiangzhi Xiaoban tablet(JXT)on cardiac function in patients with coronary heart dis-ease(CHD).Methods Sixty patients with CHD confirmed by coronary angiography were randomly divided into two groups:Group A treatment(n=30)treated with JXT,and group B (n=30)treated with simvastatin tablets for 8 weeks.The long axis view of the heart of 18 segments speckle tracking imaging (STI)peak strain LS and conventional echocardiographic parameters were performed before and after treatment.Results After treatment,each segment of STI parameters of LS in group B were significantly lower than those in group A(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the conventional echocardiographic parameters,including interven-tricular septal end diastolic thickness(IVSTd),left ventricular end diastolic dimension(LVDd),posterior wal thickness in diastole (LVPWTd),left ventricular end systolic dimension (LVDs)between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion JXT can improve cardiac function in patients with CHD,which is better than simvastatin tablets.
